Biography

Jessica is an accomplished artist with a BA Honors degree in Art and Environmental Studies from Roehampton Institute. She spent ten years as Harrods’ Millinery buyer before moving to Oxfordshire to raise her family. Her artistic style, which she describes as “abstract realism,” emphasizes environmental themes and the human-nature relationship. Jessica’s work often features derelict buildings and structures, incorporating discarded materials to reflect her commitment to reuse, recycle, and repurpose.

Jessica employs a variety of techniques and materials in her creations, including mixed media, decoupage, and the application of gold, silver, and bronze leaf. These elements add depth and richness to her pieces, highlighting her innovative approach to art. Her passion for the Cotswold landscape drives her efforts to support its preservation through her evocative and thought-provoking paintings. Jessica’s work not only captures the beauty of the environment but also encourages viewers to consider their own relationship with the natural world.
